Extended Abstracts due September 8th, 2021 to socofeducationassociation@gmail.com.
Come join us for a special panel about the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on education hosted by the Sociology of Education Association. Our virtual conference format worked so well last year that we thought we’d try doing a mini-conference the same way during the fall! We hope for a great deal of exchange among participants over chat.
Extended abstracts should be no longer than two pages in Word, including bibliography and all tables/appendices. They will be judged on i) Fit with the conference theme, ii) Data Quality and Appropriateness, iii) Method Quality and Appropriateness, and iv) Theoretical Use and Integration. Selected speakers will have 12-15 minutes to present their paper to the group and get feedback at the end. Works-in-progress are welcome!
