The Sociology of Education Association is a great conference to network with other scholars in the field, share your work, and get feedback. Many established members report that they “grew up” with the Association through years of mentorship offered by more senior colleagues.
To formalize this support, we are offering a mentoring program that will pair members for a breakfast at the 2020 Sociology of Education Association Meeting.
At breakfast on Saturday, February 22nd, those interested will be matched in mentorship pairs as part of our SEA mentoring program. Graduate students will be matched with mentors who have completed graduate school (Post-docs, faculty etc).
